In line with Malaysian Government's aspiration to increase renewable energy generation, OpenSys (M) Berhad has enrolled in the Green Electricity Tariff (GET) Programme on the Malaysia Green Attribute Tracking System (mGATS) platform.
mGATs is a national marketplace for Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificates (mREC) to help customers achieve their sustainability goals faster and easier.
Between June and September 2021, OpenSys (M) Berhad had received 269 I-REC certificates, representing 269 MWh of electricity generated from renewable sources.
